Merry Christmas!!

Hello my jolly dears,

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANUKKAH, AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU MIGHT CELEBRATE <3

So I decided that while I have a little break, I will share how my Christmas Eve went.
My family has always done Christmas activities on the 24th instead of the 25th.
We open our presents under the tree on the 24th, we watch movies on the 24th, and we look at Christmas lights on the 24th. The only thing we don't do on the 24th is open our Christmas stockings from Santa.
Obviously, last night was when we opened our presents, so I am going to share what I received on Christmas!
(Ashley and I are actually getting along?! What is this world coming to??)
(Opening Christmas presents [I am wearing one of my presents])
This perfume smells so good. It is unreal. I also really love the packaging!

I have been dying to get these! Mom made the smart choice of buying my kids boots.

I had a pair similar and in a lighter shade of grey, but the old ones were a knock off brand. They were starting to fall apart too, so I am extremely happy about these!

I love Marshalls and monograms, so this present obviously fits me to a T.

These are the second pair of pjs I received. (The other pair is the one I mentioned previously.) The pants are super soft and cozy.
I have a thing for grey shoes, since they go with everything. These are grey and have sparkles. I am swooning.

I am actually really excited to wear the scarf and hat. This year, I have really acquired a taste for beanie hats, so I'm excited to wear these.

I am already fangirling over the black shirt...its bad. The dress seems slightly big, but I haven't tried it on.

My mom really loves me.

Okay, this is probably my favorite gift right now. I LOVE Soap&Glory products, so when I saw that I got a body scrub that smells like margaritas and two face scrubs. The milkshake product is bath fizzies and a scrubby, and the fizzies smell like coconut vanilla cream. It. Is. To. Die. For. The two containers in the front are lip products; the right one is a lip scrub, and the left one is a lip balm. The colorful circular things are body washes. This morning, I used the big face scrub, a fizzy, the body scrub, and the lip scrub. They were PERFECTION.

Christmas is Around the Corner!

Hello lovelies,

I am finally home for a whole month, and two days into my vacation, it starts blizzarding out side. I has snowed a total of 12 inches as of today at 10 am.
(This was yesterday around 10 am. We had to clear our driveway of 11.5 inches of snow)
Sorry this is such a short post, but nothing really exciting has happened.
It has been a rough start of a break, but I am hoping it will get better soon.

Avoir,

 mon amis

Sorry!

Hello friends!
First, I want to apologize for not posting in...a month? Oops!
School has been consuming my life, but I do have some awesome moments to share and such!
Soooo...let's get started!

First things first, MY PARENTS ARE MOVING TO PORTLAND, OREGON!
While yes, I am terrified of them being so far away, I could not be more happy or more proud for and of both of them.

Second, IT'S FINALS WEEK...the stress is real...
Luckily, I only have two more finals on Wednesday, and then, I will be driving home to see my fam.
After Christmas, we will be flying to Portland to look at houses and such.
I am dying of excitement, which is shocking really.
Since I am terrified of planes, and I'm slightly scared of going somewhere I have never been. I never imagined I'd be this excited to go.

Third, I have officially started the process of obtaining my passport, so I can go abroad to Angers, France in Spring 2015 for a whole semester.
I'M SO EXCITED!
On top of my trip to Oregon, I am going to be traveling to Chicago to obtain my French visa, although I am unsure of the dates for this.

Fourth, I can officially say I have touched Aaron Carter...and it was beautiful.

While home over Thanksgiving Break, my babies had their first birthday:
(The tired birthday boy and moi...keep in mind he was dead tired and had just shoved his face full of cake)

(And again)

(This time a picture with the birthday girl)
 ;)

(My baby boy is so big *crying*)

Upon arriving back to campus, everyone was hit with loads of homework and tests (This boys and girls is not the fun part of college)
Rajvi and I decided to take a break from studying and homework to participate in casino night in Templin Hall.
We also realized that we are very good at blackjack (at least when it's not our money/fake money).

Also, I went to a private screening of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show with Sophie, and I got a whole bunch of freebies.

College, while wonderful and enlightening, is one word: exhausting.
I have been taking naps which, if you know me, is not normal.
Well on Thursday, I will be heading home to spend a month with my family and then, back to school I go.
I promise to keep my blog more updated while I'm on vacation!!
Avoir mes amis et bonne chance.

Fall Break

Bonjour mes amis!

Soooooo, it's been awhile...sorry : /
ANYWAYS...before I ended the last blog, I was talking about late night in the Phog.
It...was....AWESOME.
Here's some pictures!

This is Brittney and John!

So after night in the Phog, the following week blew by in a flurry of midterms
and horrible exams.
The worst part of the week was mom surgery. I have always been there for
every surgery since 5th grade, but I couldn't see her until the next day.
She was going under while I was in English class, but she called. We cried, and I had to let her go because her blood pressure was climbing due to my worrying.
Instead of going home after my classes were done, I had to stay in Lawrence because I had a Global Partners meeting at 9-11pm. Here is where my day became much, much brighter.
While at Global Partners, I didn't get to meet my group because none of them were there, so instead I hung out with other international students whose groups also weren't there.
While waiting to go bowling, I met a lovely guy named Robert; he is from Germany, and he charmed my socks off. Then while bowling, I met some AH-MAZING Brazilians. There names are Bianca, Maria, Carlos, Milton, Pedro, and Angélica. They were all so sweet; I love them all.
So the next morning, I drove home at 8am to see my mommy.
I had to wait for Dad to get home, so we could go together.
Soooooo...since I had nothing to do for a bit, I decided to play with my favorite person <3

After waiting on my dad, we finally drove to Wichita to visit my mom in the hospital.

She was in a lot of pain, and she was kind of drowsy due to her medications. So, we didn't stay long.

Once we were home, we let Taz in, but he stayed like this to make sure I didn't leave him again :(

The next morning, we drove back up to Wichita to pick up Mom and bring her home.
Most of my fall break has been spent with my mom and dog.
There isn't anywhere else I would want to be.
I mean how can you resist a dog that thinks he's a bull. LOL

It is now Tuesday, and I have to drive back to Lawrence tonight. In a way, I can't wait to be in Lawrence, but at the same time, I don't like having to leave my parents and dog behind.
Well, until next time!
Au revoir, mes amours.
